What to do if your dog ate something toxic

If your dog is having trouble breathing, is unconscious, or having seizures, call an emergency vet immediately. Don't wait.

Step 1: Act Quickly
Time is critical in poisoning cases

  2. Secure any remaining toxic food to prevent further ingestion
  3. Check the time and try to determine:
    • What your dog ate
    • How much they consumed
    • When they consumed it
